Isle Futures is a Registered Charity and community-led Company  with members from the  village and elsewhere in the country. The Charity is run by a Board of Trustees who are elected by the Members, and who also act as directors of the Company.. You can find out more about our governance in our Memorandum – Articles of Association.

We aim to:

  1. Relieve the need, suffering and distress of people who are isolated due to their age, sickness or disability; ease individuals’ isolation by involving them in the community,
  2. Provide or assist in providing amenities to benefit the general public (not taking on the responsibility of statutory bodies to do this, but in addition to what the statutory bodies do), ensuring that any private gain is greatly outweighed by the benefit to the public.
